SDA and SDM Insulated Sliding Doors

The SDM 9000 (Manual) and SDA 9000 (Automatic) Insulated horizontal sliding doors are designed for applications where a swing or roll-up door is not practical.

Good for all types of traffic in a clean room, dry storage, refrigerated or wash down environments.

SDA 9000 (Automatic)

The SDA 9000 is powered by the Tormax iMotion® Direct Drive which is designed for long lasting efficiency and performance. The Tormax iMotion® Direct Drive has no gears to wear, no leaking oil or grease, no motor commutator, brushes or couplings to replace. The result is a long service life with lowest total cost of ownership. The iMotion® drive is extremely quiet in operation, and offers self-adjusting programmable iMotion® micro-processor controller with advanced auto diagnostics, and plug and play features which make installation and operation fast and simple.

The iMotion® direct drive maintains optimal performance as all times through the us of an on-board self-adjusting closed loop iMotion® microprocessor control system. The system periodically checks the door's operating limits and makes automatic adjustments to compensate for temperature, wind, dust, dirt, stack pressure and other outside factors, which alter the system's performance.

SDM 9000 (Manual)

The SDM 9000 is identical in design to the SDA 9000 but features a manual pull handle for opening and closing.

Features & Advantages  for both SDA and SDM 9000 Models

All doors feature a 1/8" ABS outer shell forming a 2”, 4” or 6” thick panel that will retain its physical properties to -40°C.

The door body is impervious to moisture, acid, petroleum products, animal fats, rodents, insects and salt solutions.

Cores are foamed in place high density non-CFC urethane bonded to the outer shell producing an "R" factor of 8 per inch.

This corrosion free door has no wood or steel in the panel. All perimeter edges are rigid welded PVC tubing creating the structure of the door panel.

They operate on the sliding door hardware with neoprene rollers that are enclosed in a low maintenance aluminum corrosion resistant track. The track allows for down and in movement for a tight seal when closed, up and out creates a smooth transition to the open position. Both panel and floor mounted door guides along with butts in both opening and closing modes limit the door movement for safe transition from closed to open every time.
